Sunday, Sept 7
I haven't posted in a while. Time is flying. I intend to write about our adventures last Friday but not yet. Today, we went to Hampstead Heath. It's not far away. There is a wonderful view overlooking London there from a place called Parliament Hill. So many happy people and lots of well-behaved dogs. Men playing cricket. Interesting. The heath is very large. Also, we happened upon a house where John Keats lived for two years. Fun to imagine his being there composing poetry. Saw his bedroom and study and, of course, the rest of the house. Was in Hampstead. Tomorrow Ralph is teaching Richard III and then his class and I are going to see it. How great is that? I've read about half of it and intend to read the rest and background material tomorrow and then meet them to go to the play. I'm getting nervous about all there is to see and do and time is flying. Must get out there and explore. More later.
