Maintaining the Sunday breakfast tradition
Went out this morning for a scant breakfast. Stopped at a--can't think of the name of it but I have a picture here somewhere--it's just like Starbuck's and is on the canal and Camden St or Rd. Croissants and raisin Danish and better coffee than back at the flat. Must locate a proper breakfast place with eggs, says Ralph. We walked along the canal to King's Crossing. Saw canal yachts (got some photos). I'm curious about these. Do people live on them, vacation on them? What. Also saw a lock and wished we could see someone go through it. Also saw the international train station where you take the chunnel to Paris. Walked through. Lots of cafes as at the airport. Walked and walked along roads to get home. Eager to get there. I wore some iffy shoes today thinking we weren't going far and paid the price with sore feet. The old standby black and white cat was not there this morning. Oh no! Let me get my phone usb cable and try to put some photos here. Thanks for keeping in touch.

A black and white one too? Yay!
ReplyDeleteYes, the black and white I call Old Faithful. Almost always there. This evening he/she was curled up on a car hood. Followed us in and ate tuna a couple of times but has lost interest now.
