Love the new photos from the garden and along the route you've described walking when you go out. Front door and garden gate look lovely; easy to imagine feeling comforted by the sight of them after a long day of exploring! Found myself looking for the cats! (Maybe a later shot. . .). The pictures along the canal really capture a sense of place - very picturesque! They could almost have been taken in Amsterdam, but there would have to be a LOT more houseboats! I can more easily envision your treks now that you've documented the areas you pass through. I don't think it could look more the way I picture England looking! Thanks for the glimpse of your home away from home! Do you have a fireplace? It would be nice to come home on a chilly evening and have a glass of wine, cuddled under your blanket by a fire! Keep the pictures coming - they bring so much dimension to your tales of adventure!!!
ReplyDeleteI ditto Jane except that it's even prettier than I imagined! Now I feel even more connected! :)
ReplyDeleteIt really is pretty. A nice peaceful pretty place to come home to. I like it very much
ReplyDeleteLoving the photos- I can see you two now surrounded with all this beauty! Enjoy , enjoy.....even the weather is ok when you consider all the things to do and see!
ReplyDeletego to Portobello (sp) and give me your impressions
Isabelle
Hoping to go to Camden Market this weekend. I read it is really something. Will keep Portobello in mind. Looking it up now. Thanks
DeleteIn a later viewing, Carrington's looks like a place we'd like to pop into for a beer and a bite!
ReplyDeleteYes, it's actually called the Prince Albert. We haven't been back but pass by there almost daily. Fish & chips was all they had to offer me and I'm not a fan. We had thought we'd go there often just for a pint but hasn't worked out that way. Friday nights all the pubs are jammed. It is a tradition. Haven't braved that either yet.
