More plumbing problem and plans delayed
No hot water again this morning so the plumber was called in and arrived about one o'clock. Not sure what the problem is but bled out some air bubbles in the line. Meanwhile, in the confusion, Ralph deleted all he'd written this morning. Nooooooooo! He went on to meet with the FSU fellow and I sat here fiddling with my cell phone and a transportation app on my laptop. I'm hoping for a miraculous way to navigate this huge city without squinting at what is to me a mysterious tube map. Still hoping. Looks like we may be splurging on dinner out again tonight.

Does 9 million sound right for the population of London? Big, busy. City, indeed! So neat that a local feline was the first to befriend you!
ReplyDeleteI want to keep up with your itinerary so I can read up on your ventures out. I have to make a list of interesting places I saw on the map of London so I can mention them to you to see if you're planning to visit any of them. I still need to look up a couple of places you mentioned - vicariously educate myself!
Sooo glad I'm on board with the blog now! It's a great way to cover everything without having to send out separate e-mails! I get it!
